The Joy Diet: Week 4, Chapter 3 - DESIRE

If you want to try to read these you will have to click to enlarge..but my printing is horrific. It seems to get worse the faster my thoughts come and the more I work through this book the faster I write.....so.....it is gonna get nasty!

I am glad that this is helping you to decide what to work on. Please know you are a wonderful person, and can do any thing you put your mind too. You are successful just the way your are to be on your own. I have never done this for fear of failure.

I love reading your journal in your handwriting. Clever how you doodle along the way. I share your desire for a meaningful relationship that of course comes with good sex. {wink} I think the first step is to declare what we want then the to explore it as I can see that you are doing. I too had my fears bubble up and I'm exploring each of these. I can see that once I make my peace and outgrow some of my fears, I'll be ready to attract Mr. Wonderful! Thanks for sharing your personal feelings. I think you'll find many joy seekers are right there with you! Have a lovely weekend. k

Such an interesting read, seeing your thought processes unscramble themselves. Keep thinking and following the pebbles...

This is a wonderful post and shows your journey on the topic of desire. All of the things on your list that you are "wishing" for already exist in your power to make it happen. I think your last question is an important one. What would it take for you to matter to yourself? There's no one like you,so therefore you are so special. Have a great week.

You've put a lot of thought and of yourself into this week -- working through finding desire. And it shows. I love that you said the faster you write or print the messier the work becomes..but the joy is in the fast thoughts, that you were able to tap into desire to want and to be able to express it. How joyful is this!!

What a beautiful journal! You've made many good points. The couch potato image is fun, and I can definitely relate to that! And your last paragraph about wanting things, but not expecting them, I hadn't even thought about that, but I too have that problem. Thank you for sharing!

"I will never get anything I desire without expecting more." What a powerful statement! Once again, I have enjoyed catching a glimpse of your world within your journal.

Really enjoyable to witness the creativity in your pages about desire. It should be really fun to see what happens with the next chapter, Creativity!

First of all, your printing is not horrific. It's full of purpose and energy. I love the drawings that accompany your words which bring them to life.

As I was reading your thoughts, I was taken aback at how similar they are to mine. It's as if you found my journal and posted it.

Maybe we can start a support group? :)

There is such value in writing it down. Having done that for years and then going back over I've discovered many of my desires have manifested. All good wishes to you.

I love your journal pages and how you add colour and doodles. I can resonate with some of your thoughts about wanting more intimacy in your life, i often feel that life gets so busy that we forget the important stuff, we forget to stop and smell the roses.
I have just started to write in a journal after many years of doing it, its great to let all the thoughts down!
