In Memory Of....

The local fire that killed a mother and 4 children really hit me hard. To help me cope I made this memorial slide show...please continue to pray for the families involved and community. And pray for the 10-year-old little boy who set the fire which as a result killed his own mother and sister and 3 live-in playmates.

The song I chose was "Jubilee" sung by Alison Krauss, not because the outcome was anything at all to be happy about....but because I still hope throughout all this tragedy and grief that the families and community can pause and reflect on the lives of their loved ones and some of the happier times spent while they were still here. The song expresses both the horror of loss and tragedy......and jubilee at remembrances of happier times with loved ones and how we all should embrace them while they last for we never know when they could be taken away from us.

Steve's death really bothered me a lot so I decided to do a slide show...sometimes that helps me feel better about things. I tried to keep this as simple as possible cause I felt though he was larger than life....he was still also just "one of us".
