the snowblower man arrived....I think we have at least 20-24 inches of snow!

You need to tuck away a little cash someplace for an emergency like this one, although I would imagine he would have taken a check. $20.00 wasn't bad. Our snowblower wouldn't clear off the drive down to the cement after that second snow fall that had the sleet. So hopefully the sun will melt it sooner or later. City has a way of plowing the street and it closes up the end of the driveway again, so after they went down the street, we went out right away and tried to clear it away. Once it freezes into a big lump like that it would be like driving up over a curb. Although now, we have a couple of really low spots and the rest is higher so it's still going to be bumpy. Can't win. Keep warm. Love you, Mom

I do keep EMERGENCY money on hand......so I had the 20.00 plus a tad more.....normally I have more than that on hand...I just don't carry cash anymore. I was thankful I managed to scrounge the extra up. The snow plow had gone down our street yes and the end of the drive was over 2 feet deep and hard too....he got through it though!

plus...I keep salt on the drive.....so my drive is completely snow/ice free now......and dry!
