Been busy......
I am just so busy with work and summer and summertime activities and redoing my house and and and...but I have found time to be a little crafty! I redid an antique overnight bag for my sister's birthday present. She loves Eric Northman off of True Blood so I Mod Podged images of him inside and outside the overnight bag. She loved it and said she will probably keep her journals inside it. Hopefully the sealant smell will fade soon! It was still a little strong 24 hours later.
AND none of my sisters were very much into their Wreck This Journal so the same sister I did the overnight luggage for passed me down her journal to do ..she said for myself...but I thought why not redo it for HER..filling it with things I think she likes or things that remind me of her....photos of her artwork which I have always loved and found so beautiful...etc. SO I redid her journal and also gave that to her as part of her present. It was packed full of goodies and the more I do these journals the more I am getting into them and experimenting more....and the more I am wanting to do and doing altered books! I am SO excited about some new techniques I learned today....and cannot wait to try them out. I will have to find a way to do photos of her journal hereon blogger...probably via a slide show as I have many photos to show. BUT here is a start...
Hope you all have a great week! The weather here has been super hot and humid and stormy!

How did you do that to the overnight bag?? I'd love to do stuff like that.
I used photos and images and then Mod Podge to glue them on and coat them onto the overnight bag. I then applied a sealer though I really did not have to...
I guess it is considered sort of like decoupage...using Mod Podge. I did one for my other sister for her birthday and filled it with presents for her. EVERYONE loved it so much...I have 2 more requests already....
