Today is my birthday and I feel like crap......

My friend from high school surprised me and sent me FLOWERS today! Talk about a surprise! I did not expect anything like that ever from anyone to be honest so it was a treat!

THANKS PATTI! AND especially since I am sick it meant a lot to me.....to have something delivered special to me on my big day! I know this quick pic does not do them justice....but they are beautiful and sitting on my work desk.......

I was finally able to get into the After Hours Clinic this morning and got some medicine.....I am hoping I will start to feel better soon.....I think I already am.....but still have a fever....coughing....blowing....voice sounding weird....fever, sore throat but not as bad.....you know...all the usual upper respiratory symptoms.....

here I took off Friday and Saturday.......

and was thinking this was the Saturday that Hallmark had their ornament premiere but it is NEXT Saturday the 12th. SO I will have to alter my schedule somewhat so I can make time to go to that. I enjoy and look forward to that every year and I got some nice gift cards for my pre-birthday bash so I can buy some new ornaments. SO I am a bit disappointed realizing that I will not be going THIS Saturday after all but heck...I may pop in the store anyway and see if they have their ornaments out. Sometimes they do that.....though they are supposed to keep things covered until premiere day!

Otherwise I am fighting off some sinus/allergy thing...my throat is so sore in the upper back of it....probably from drainage but I am not aware I have any......so it is all very weird. I also have pretty much lost my voice or I sound very deep and husky....sorta like Suzanne Pleshette.
